Terms & Conditions (English Version)

This English version is provided for convenience only. In case of discrepancies, the German version (“AGB”) shall prevail.

1. Scope of Application

These Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed via the online shop Playful Makes.

The offer is directed exclusively at consumers.

2. Contracting Party

3. Conclusion of Contract

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order.

By clicking the button to complete the purchase, you submit a binding order for the goods in your shopping cart.

A contract is concluded once you receive an order confirmation by email.

4. Prices

All prices are stated in euros (€) and are final prices.

In accordance with § 19 UStG (German Small Business Regulation), no VAT is charged or shown.

5. Digital Content (PDF Downloads)

After completing your purchase, digital content will be made available for download.

Access is provided via:

  • the order confirmation page, and/or
  • a download link sent by email.

Right of withdrawal for digital content

The right of withdrawal expires once the performance of the contract has begun, provided that:

  • you have expressly agreed that execution begins before the end of the withdrawal period, and
  • you have acknowledged that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.

This applies in particular to:

  • PDF sewing patterns
  • digital instructions
  • downloadable files

6. Physical Products (DIY Kits and Finished Items)

Physical products are shipped to the delivery address provided during checkout.

Delivery times and processing times are stated in the respective product descriptions.

7. Right of Withdrawal for Physical Goods

Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days.

8. Retention of Title

Goods remain the property of Playful Makes until full payment has been received.

9. Usage Rights for Digital Products

All digital products are provided for personal use only.

In particular, it is not permitted to:

  • share or redistribute the files
  • reproduce or publish them
  • resell or license them
  • use them for commercial purposes
  • sell items made using the digital files

Any form of commercial use is prohibited unless explicitly agreed in writing.

10. Liability

Playful Makes is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence.

In cases of slight negligence, liability exists only in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations and is limited to foreseeable, typical damages.

Liability for damages resulting from improper use of the products is excluded.

11. Applicable Law

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).

12. Severability Clause

Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

13. Updates to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions are valid as of: 28.12.2025.

They may be updated from time to time to reflect legal or operational changes.
